JAN 28, 2022 — pillphill 1.0.5 released for iOS/iPadOS. Included in this update are key cloud security changes and ground work for version 1.1.0.

What’s new in 1.0.5?

• Improved accuracy in Snap mode
• Free tier usage limit raised from 5 minutes to 10 minutes
• The data toggle in settings was removed as the average data use per session was reduced by ~50% compared to 1.0.4 (8Mb/session → 4Mb/session)
• Introduced the healthcare mode toggle — in 1.0.5, this toggle serves to enable backend encryption features

What does 1.0.5 fix?

• Realtime pill counting was not available on iPad Air 4th generation; this has been corrected
